The Beast of Gevaudan is not only an animal of legend.

His misdeeds, more than a hundred victims, are historically proven. During the winter of 1765, the monster attacked seven children of the Margeride who managed to stand up to him and to scare.

Some twenty years later, the boldest of them, Jacques Porter, became an officer of the armies of the King wrote to his Majesty Louis XVI to reveal what he knows about the Beast and entrust him with his dark secret.
